Breathing, a Life Saving Therapy 2-day Certification Course The course is based, largely, on the concepts of Professor Ilse Middendorf’s teachings The Perceptible Breath, A Breathing ScienceThe professor is founder of the Ilse Middendorf Institute for the Perceptible Breath in Berlins and she is the chairman of the AFA Union. I studied with her in London.The Course encompasses my own experiences with group interaction through movement and breath focus; practical, life saving treatments; healing with CranioSacral Therapy; breath techniques for Voicework & Sound Healing and during therapy sessions as a Stress Management Consultant. The Course is to initiate medical staff, therapists, carers, teachers and trainers to lead others in their care towards a willingness to allow the breath to work for them so as to improve their quality of life and increase their lifespan. Students will learn:- a) to tune in to the unique rhythms of individuals’ breathing b) how to recognise and diagnose from different patterns c) the concept and benefits of trusting the breath d) breathing as a relaxation therapy e) breathing to stimulate f) breathing as a vital tool to improve health and quicken recovery g) that HOW you walk and WHERE you walk affects your breath h) exercises to teach others in classes of Breathing To Live.
